CAUTION
Keep dirt, water and other contaminants
from entering the hydraulic system. Be-
fore opening the hydraulic fl uid reservoir
fi ller cap, drain plug and hydraulic lines,
wipe off contaminants that can get in
the openings. Also, protect the openings
from accidental contamination.
3. On the cylinder farthest from the pump,
disconnect high pressure (HP) hose from
elbow fi tting on the cylinder (FIGS. 13-1A
and 13-1B).
4. Place the open end of the hose in a
3-gallon bucket.
5. To run the hydraulic pump, press
the UP switch on the hand pen-
dant (FIG. 13-2). Hold the UP
switch and listen for sounds of
cavitation in the pump. Release
the UP switch when the pump
starts to cavitate.
