3. Unfold the platform as fol-

lows. Open release valve

on manual pump by turning

manual backup handle coun-

ter-clockwise (FIG. 27-1).

Start with 1/4 turn and slowly

increase to 1/2 turn counter-

clockwise.

4. Observe the platform unfolding

to horizontal position at vehicle

ﬂ oor level (FIG. 27-2).

UNFOLD PLATFORM

5. When the platform reaches

ﬂ oor level, close release valve

on manual pump by turning

manual backup handle clock-

wise until tight (FIG. 27-3).

CLOSE RELEASE VALVE
